The Inspiration

 

Gro Baby Gro LLC was created by a first time mother that was searching for an all natural leave-in conditioner for her newborns hair. She wanted a conditioner that would continue to keep her baby’s hair moisturized and growing. Unsuccessful in her search, she decided to make her own leave-in conditioner for her baby using all pure ingredients. Not only did she use this on her baby’s hair, she used the conditioner as well. Especially, when she noticed that her hair was falling out in clumps from her hormone levels decreasing. She used this conditioner everyday and tracked the progress of her hair growth. The mother noticed amazing results from using her product on her and her baby. She felt that there was a need for this product in the world to help babies and mamas with hair loss issues. That is when Gro Baby Gro LLC was born and continued to grow into the full product line that you see today. Gro Baby Gro LLC was designed to create a true “Mommy and Me” hair care experience in order to inform & set the foundation of natural hair care in the early stages of childhood.

The Formula

 

Gro Baby Gro is a handmade formula used to stimulate hair growth in infants, toddlers, and postpartum mothers. Newborn hair loss, formal name telogen effluvium, is very common due to the hormone levels that drop suddenly after birth. The same hormone decrease affects the mother after giving birth and some mothers can suffer from postpartum alopecia.

 

Gro Baby Gro is enriched with natural oils like ylang-ylang, baobab, and many more that help to reverse these types of hair loss. One of our key ingredients, ylang-ylang oil, has many benefits to the child and mother. Ylang-Ylang comes from the petals of fresh flowers from the ylang-ylang tree that grows in the rain-forests of certain Asian and South Pacific islands. This essential oil is known for its beautiful floral scent which is an instant stress reliever, a natural antidepressant, and great for treating hair loss. Baobab oil improves skin elasticity and soothes dry skin. Its moisturizing properties are nature's remedy for eczema and psoriasis. Containing vitamin A, D, E, and F, baobab oil rejuvenates damaged skin cells on the scalp.
